I love a list. But, over the summer I realized that I had way too many going at one time. And, in different places. My to-do list on a note pad, my planner, scraps of paper in the junk draw, etc. I decided no more! That’s when the family binder was born.
The family binder holds everything from our calendar and to do list’s to our take out menus. All in one spot. Which also helped cleaned out our junk drawer in the process which was a big win for me.
I created printable templates for the things I write down every week. My to-do list, meal planner, and the multistore shopping list. The multi store shopping list has been the game changer. It’s great to be able to keep a running list of things I need from a couple different stores as I think of them rather than lists for 3 stores on 3 separate pieces of paper I will probably forget about. (Mom brain is real and I will totally forget what I actually needed from the store by the time I make it there anyway.)
The to-do list is great because I can keep a list of what I want to accomplish for the week but, also plan out each day on a post-its. It keeps me more focused on just the tasks assigned for the day rather than getting overwhelmed by the list as a whole. Then there is the meal planner which, has room to keep my shopping list, weekly meal plan and any meal prep I plan on doing all in one place. These tools have worked really well for me so, I wanted to share them with you! Download them for free below!
