I am a big fan of making a big deal out of pretty much any event/holiday and the first day of school is no different.This year I have decided to step up my game and get some fun back to school decorations.
Amazon was definitely the way to go on this one. I found this super cute back to school banner, a table runner for our breakfast nook, and of course some balloons. My plan is to surprise the kids with the set up the morning of their first day of school.
I think this will also be useful to help bridge that gap between summer coming to a close and my desperation to start putting pumpkins out everywhere.
We also started a tradition two years ago getting the kids pajamas and a book. Just a little something to add to the excitement! We love these night before books by Natasha Wings!
