It’s like the second week of the new year so you know what that means! It means I’ve already re-started my “healthy eating habits” four times and already banshee yelled at my kids twice even though I said I was going to have more patience and stop yelling. (To be fair the one time I did have to break up a wrestling match.) Also why does it feel like they only listen when I’m screaming my face off?
I did however purchase a new binder and 2021 planner in hopes that I can leave my house eventually and actually put some plans into the planner. As I previously mentioned in other posts I use a binder to keep all of our stuff organized. Lists, coupons, take out menus, you name it. It all goes in the binder.
It’s a system that works for me. I don’t have to dig through papers in our junk drawer or sift through a mail file folder every time I’m looking for something. ( I used to keep one on the kitchen counter but it just became a catchall for literally every piece of paper in the house.) Also, if you couldn’t already tell I love a list. Having all my lists and cleaning checklists in one place (that also happens to look cute) makes me happy.
I made a new and improved weekly planner, to-do list and 2021 goals printable that you can download at the bottom of the page! So far these have worked out really nicely. I like when I can plan out each day with the weekly planner (It even has a space for meal planning dinner for the week!) Then I don’t feel overwhelmed or the pressure to try to get everything done in one day.
Pro tip: if you are going to build a binder get some fastener dots to secure your planner to your binder!
If you make your own family binder I want to see it! Make sure to tag me on Instagram!
