I scream, you scream we all scream for… pretty much everything. We are a super yelly family. Now that the weather is warmer and the pool is open my neighbors get the pleasure of hearing me scream things like “SHARING IS CARING” and “IF YOU DON’T STOP FIGHTING WE WON’T GO BACK IN THE POOL FOR THE REST OF THE SUMMER!” Which, is a total empty threat by the way. Nothing else tires these kids out like the pool. By 3pm they are both too tired to move (or fight) and I get to clean up and make dinner in peace. It’s awesome.
Anyway, back to what I was saying. This week we are screaming for ice cream! As we wind down homeschooling for this year and get ready for summer what could be a better theme than ice cream? (No, I’m like actually asking. I think by this point in my planning process I was running really low on theme ideas.)
To go along with our theme I made a worksheet bundle for the week. It had all of our favorite go to activities included! You can download it right here;
And here is the link for the wonderful (and free!) clipart I used if you want to make your own!

Vincent had a great time working on the counting, graphing and pattern worksheets. While he did his work Rosie served us pretend ice cream from her ice cream cart.
I mean, I noticed some serious health code violations, and I’ve never been to an ice cream shop where they don’t let you pick your ice cream and just tell you what they want you to have. But, I’ll probably go back. Even though the owner had an attitude and kept asking me for snacks.
We also read some fun books this week! Here are our recommendations:
That’s it for this week! If you try out the worksheet bundle, or just want to to tell me the crazy stuff your neighbors hear you yell at your kids I would love to hear about it!
Have a great week!
