We just got back from an amazing week on the Outer Banks in North Carolina! This was our first time there and I am pretty sure it’s our new favorite vacation spot. We went with my parents, sisters and their significant others which made the trip even more special.
We rented a gorgeous house in the Currituck Club Community. The house had everything we could need. It was super clean, well maintained and it had a private pool and hot tub. This community has so much to offer. There’s beach valet services, shopping, golf, and most importantly ice cream! ( The Chill Spot was great!) We also rented golf carts which made getting around super easy and fun!
The Currituck Club has a welcome party on arrival days (Saturday and Sunday) at the main community pool. Enjoy a fun day at the pool (and Tiki bar) while you wait for check in time. It was like a whole extra day of vacation for us. If your considering an Outer Banks vacation I would definitely recommend The Currituck Club.
While this was a pretty relaxed vacation there was still a lot of prep and planning. Just like any vacation with kids there is a whole lot of stuff you need to bring. (Why does it always feel like even more stuff when you’re headed to the beach though?) Since this was our first beach vacation in a while I update our checklists to make sure we had everything we needed.
If need help getting organized for a family vacation I’ve got you covered! You can download the checklists I use for free below!
