For the next week and a half our homeschool theme will be Christmas! I don’t know about your house but its been super crazy over here! Luckily the excitement of Christmas hasn’t overtaken our school routine yet. My son is still (surprisingly) super focused while we are in school mode.
My general plan was to cover why we celebrate Christmas ( And other holidays) this week and do the fun stuff (crafts, activities and anything else special) next week.
I did find some really great books for this week but, the stand out for me was this one:
It explains about important holidays in different cultures in a super easy to understand way. My son loved it and we have read it 3 times already this week.

And then of course we will read some other fun ones next week too! The kids got an advent calendar this year in which they get a new Christmas themed book each day. So we have no shortage of books to pick from!
Here is the worksheet bundle I made! It has the usual in it. (Patterns, addition, and a Christmas count!)
